Certifications
Certifications from respected and credible third-party organizations are imperative at Bay Native Clothing Company LLC. because they certify a brand to global sustainability standards. By analyzing a company's entire supply chain, third-party certifiers are able to verify that every supply chain meets the current global standards. The depth that these third-party certifications go give not only the company, but also the consumer, confidence in their clothes and assurance in the impact of their garment.
These certifications are not easy to obtain but that is because they ask tough questions and demand proof. We love that. We have done the work and spent the time to do this the right way and we feel other apparel brands should do the same.
Our mills are Fairtrade certified through FLOcert and SA800 which are dedicated to alleviating poverty afflicting the majority of workers by setting and certifying the compliance of socially conscious production standards.
Our factories use Suzlon 1250 wind power to continue leadership in environmentally conscious production.
WRAP is an independent, objective, non-profit team of global social compliance experts dedicated to promoting safe, lawful, humane, and ethical manufacturing around the world through certification and education. All of our factories are WRAP certified.
